The Craft of Amen Ra restores the initiatic path of the Nile Valley — the Mystery System of Kemet (ancient Egypt) from which the world's Craft descends — as taught by Dr. Yosef Ben-Jochannan and carried by his initiates.

THE SOURCE
The temple schools of Waset (Thebes), Men-nefer (Memphis), Annu (Heliopolis), and Abdu (Abydos) were the first lodges. In them, the sciences and the sacred were one study.
Ptah is the Great Craftsman who thinks the world and speaks it into form. Imhotep, who raised the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, is the first Grand Architect known by name.
Before every temple stood two pylons — the first two pillars, and the gate through which the seeker passed from the world into the work.
THE JOURNEY
Greek students came to the temples to be taught, and carried home what they had received. Rome inherited it. The builders' guilds of Europe kept the geometry and the grades when the temples were closed.
In London in 1717 the guilds became a Grand Lodge and the Craft took its modern shape.
In 1784 Prince Hall and African Lodge No. 459 returned the Craft to African hands in the Americas.
THE RETURN
For decades Dr. Yosef Ben-Jochannan taught the Nile Valley as the source, and took students to Kemet on study tours so that they would read the walls themselves.
The Craft of Amen Ra restores that teaching at its source: not a revival of a European system, but the temple path from which the system came.
Today the door is open again, and it opens to the East.

Tehuti (Thoth)
Wisdom is the Word before it is spoken and the measure before it is used. Tehuti gives the initiate the letters, the number, and the discipline to think before building.
Heru (Horus)
Strength is the Widow's Son standing where his father fell. Heru teaches you to hold the ground of Ma'at when it costs you something to hold it.
Het-Heru (Hathor)
Beauty is proportion made visible — in stone, in sound, and in conduct. Het-Heru teaches that a finished work must please as well as endure.

Founded on scholarship
Dr. Ben was an Egyptologist and historian who taught at Cornell University's Africana Studies and Research Center and wrote 49 books.
He led decades of study tours to Kemet so that his students would read the temple walls with their own eyes.
He taught that Africa is Alkebu-lan and that the Mystery System of the Nile Valley is the source of the Craft — and he carried the Craft of Amen Ra to America.

The Grand Master
Grand Master Ajarn Shaman Shu is an initiate of the Craft of Amen Ra in the line of Dr. Ben.
He is a Vajra Master, an Ajarn of the Chok Lap Thai Forest tradition, and an Oluwo of Ifá.
He is the founder of Buddha Digital Temple, Buddha University, Orisha University, and Shiva University.
