Before You Petition

What Is Required

  • You are eighteen years of age or older.
  • You believe in a Divine Source, however you name it.
  • You come of your own free will, at no one's persuasion.
  • You will keep what is entrusted to you in confidence.
  • You will hold yourself to Ma'at — in your dealings, your speech, and your record.
  • You are willing to read, and to be examined on what you have read.

What Happens Next

    The Scribe records your petition

    Every petition is read by the Scribe of Tehuti and placed before the officers.

  2. 02

    An interview

    You will be invited to speak with an officer of the Order. This is a conversation, not an interrogation.

  3. 03

    The ballot

    The officers of the Temple consider your petition.

  4. 04

    Enrollment and instruction

    If accepted, you enroll, take the Oath of Ma'at, and begin the studies of the first degree.
