The three degrees mirror the three grades of the ancient Mystery System of Kemet (ancient Egypt) and the three courts of the temple. You do not skip a court; you pass through it.

The rites are conferred in person and are not published.

Advancement

How Advancement Works

  1. 01

    Study

    Complete the curriculum of your present degree in the House of Shu and with your Warden.

  2. 02

    Service

    Give a work of service — to the Temple, to the Order, or to your community.

  3. 03

    Examination

    Sit with an officer of the Temple and give account of what you have studied and practiced.

  4. 04

    Invitation

    Advancement is extended by the Order. It is earned; it is never purchased.
